About
MINI-APTERROS (Advanced Propulsion Technology for Reusable Rocket and Operating System) is a technology demonstrator for a new generation of reusable launch vehicles developed by CNES, the French space agency, in collaboration with universities.
The project focused on technologies for vertical landing and rocket reusability. Our eight-person team was divided into four workstreams:
- Integration and PCB design
- Altitude control
- Orientation control
- Motor analysis
I worked on the orientation-control team and proposed a mechanical system for orienting the boosters to stabilize the vehicle during flight.
